Can I buy one for my home?
Not as a direct online checkout yet. Join the Get yours waitlist with your country and email — we’ll notify you when home units are available near you.
Is Ullopet for dogs, cats, or both?
Both. The seven cooking modes cover wet food, paste, broth, jerky, and more, so you can match texture to puppies, adult pets, and seniors. Homemade batches are complementary unless a veterinarian confirms a complete formula.
Do I have to cut ingredients first?
No. The inner bowl is made for large pieces. Add cleaned meat and vegetables, then let the blade grind and cook.
How is the blade different?
The grinding assembly uses a patented easy-release structure. Rotate it by hand, lift it out, and wash the blade and bowl separately. It is not a screw-fixed cutter.
How loud is it?
Operating noise is rated at 42 dB or below — quiet enough for a kitchen counter while you stay in the room.
Can I put the bowl in the dishwasher?
Yes. The removable inner bowl and patented blade are dishwasher-safe. Twist the blade out first, then wash bowl and cutter with the rest of your load.
How many meals does one batch cover?
The 4 L bowl is sized for about two meals for a medium-to-large dog. Smaller dogs and cats get more portions from the same batch — portion and refrigerate what you do not serve right away.
Can dogs and cats share one machine?
Yes. One Ullopet works for both. Run separate recipes when diets differ, or share a complementary base and adjust portions. Always clean the bowl between strong flavors if one pet is sensitive.
Can I cook frozen ingredients?
Yes. You can add frozen meat or vegetables and cook them directly — no full thaw required. Keep pieces in a size the bowl can handle, and stay nearby for the first few batches while you learn timing.
Is homemade wet food good for senior pets?
Often yes as a soft complementary meal or topper. Wet Food and Paste modes are easier to chew than hard kibble. Keep a complete commercial diet as the base unless your veterinarian designs a full homemade plan.
Can I make meat floss snacks at home?
Yes. Select Meat Floss for light, fibrous strands from whole meat — useful as a high-value topper or senior-friendly snack. Treat floss as complementary, not a complete diet.
Are homemade Ullopet meals a complete diet?
Usually no. Starter recipes are complementary. Use them as toppers or partial meals beside complete food unless a veterinarian confirms your formula is complete and balanced.
How long do leftovers keep?
Cool, refrigerate within two hours, and use within about three days — or freeze single portions. Reheat gently and discard food that smells off.
Can the blade handle small chicken bones?
Small bones appropriate for your recipe can be processed with the meat into a fibrous shred. Do not force oversized hard bones into the bowl, and keep homemade batches complementary unless a vet advises otherwise.
Do I need calcium supplements?
Not for toppers over complete food. If homemade food becomes more than a topper, ask your veterinarian before adding calcium or other supplements — do not guess dosages.
